Per Sportnet's Chris Johnston, the NHL is expanding Phase 2 groups from six to 12 players for on-ice workouts, beginning on Tuesday.

Voluntary on-and-off-ice workouts were given the go ahead to begin on June 8. Phase 3, which is set to begin on July 10, will feature mandatory training camps for the 24 teams that will be competing in the playoffs. Despite the NHL having an increase in positive COVID-19 tests lately, the league has been clear that they do not want to push back training camp dates.

This is yet another detail that has been hammered out by the NHL, as they try to work through everything in order to start the Stanley Cup Playoffs. The one main deal that has yet to be announced is which two cities the NHL will use to host the playoff games.
