In a time where news on NHL players is far and few between, there was some pretty interesting news Monday as it came out that Philadelphia Flyers goaltender Carter Hart has changed agents.

Changing agents is very rare for a player to do, especially midseason. It is even more odd when you consider the fact that Hart still has another year left on his deal. There has not been anything leaked as to why he made the change, but according to NHL reporter John Shannon, he is now with Wasserman/Orr. Previously, he was with Allain Roy.

The 21-year-old goaltender will certainly be in for a big pay day on his next deal. He has been highly regarded for quite some time now and has the potential to become the best goalie in the NHL. This season started out poorly for Hart, but he was able to turn it around and finished with a 2.42 goals against average and a .914 save percentage. He was a big reason why the Flyers surprised many and finished the season placed second in the stacked Metropolitan division.
