The 2023 IIHF World Junior Hockey Championship is set to get underway in two weeks and on Monday, the German Ice Hockey Federation released their 26-man preliminary roster for the tournament.
Before Germany plays their first game of this year's tournament, they'll need to cut three players to get down to the 23-man roster limit.
Among the notable players on Germany's roster are: Arizona Coyotes prospect Julian Lutz, Carolina Hurricanes prospect Nikita Quapp and Washington Capitals prospect Haakon Hanelt.

Germany will be in Group A at the 2023 World Juniors and will face-off against Sweden (Dec. 27th), Canada (Dec. 28th), Austria (Dec. 30th) and Czechia (Dec. 31st).
