On Monday night - while backing up Stuart Skinner - Jack Campbell took a puck to the face while he was sitting on the bench, which broke his nose. He spoke with media for the first time since earlier on Tuesday, confirming the injury.

Campbell said he's only broken his nose once before. He said that part of the U.S. National Team Development Program routine was boxing with a partner once a week, and his sparring partner caught him. Generally, he was in high spirits though.
