NJ Devils' P.K. Subban to donate $50,000 to George Floyd's daughter, NHL to match

On Wednesday, New Jersey Devils defenseman P.K. Subban announced his intention to donate $50,000 dollars to the GoFundMe page arranged for the daughter of George Floyd, who was murdered at the hands of Minnesota police.

In addition to Subban's donation, the National Hockey League has agreed to match his donation, effectively donating $100,000 dollars to the fund for six-year-old Gianna Floyd.

As of Wednesday, thanks to donations from over 26,000 people, Gianna's GoFundMe has reached almost $900,000.
