Nick Foligno Jumps Kevin Rooney After Hit on Tomas Nosek
Unwritten rule: if someone throws a hit on one of your teammates that is even remotely questionable, you have to fight that guy. You don't have to like it, but it's a rule nonetheless.
That's what Nick Foligno did after Kevin Rooney threw a hit on Tomas Nosek. There was nothing inherently malicious about the check, as Nosek turned his back and lose his footing as the check was finished. Nothing Rooney really should have done differently, but it was enough that Foligno felt the need to do something about it.
Both players received five-for-fighting and Foligno received an extra two-minutes for interference.
