Hockey players are known for having deep, lasting memories. Well, the ones who don't suffer a bunch of head injuries at least. Ask any NHL player about a goal he scored 5+ years ago, and - more often than not - they will have the ability to recall all sorts of details about it.

As it were, hockey players are experts at 'taking a number' when someone slights them. Enter Toronto Maple Leafs goalie Matt Murray. Murray, who spent the last two years with the Ottawa Senators, gave an interview earlier today in which he took a dig at his former club.

When asked about his injury, Matt Murray said: "That's why we do things right in the rehab process. We have the best of the best staff here, and...they do things properly here."

As opposed to what? Doing things the wrong way? Nick Kypreos and co. believe Murray was just absolutely GIVING it to the Senators. Watch:

Murray has been skating with the team the past week, but head coach Sheldon Keefe maintains that he still needs time to rehab his injury. Fortunately for Toronto, Ilya Samsonov and Erik Kallgren have risen to the task in Murray's absence, elevating the team to a 7-4-3 record.
