Hogberg, who was drafted in the fifth round of the 2016 NHL entry draft, scored 34 points in 181 games with Vaxjo, winning the SHL Le Mat trophy along with Elias Pettersson in 2018. He will report to the Flyers AHL affiliate, the Lehigh Valley Phantoms, to start the 2020-21 season.
Just as a follow up on today's Flyers news, Linus Högberg's entry-level contract is a 2-year deal that starts in 2020-21. Cap hit is $815,000 without accounting for potential performance bonuses (goes up to $900,000 AAV if you take them into account).— Charlie O'Connor (@charlieo_conn) May 30, 2020
