The Major League Baseball Players Association submitted its response to the MLB's recent 67-page proposal for player-safety protocols on Thursday, according to Evan Drellich of The Athletic.

The response includes some notes on the following areas:

The frequency of COVID-19 tests
Protocols when players/employees do test positive
Medical personnel available at ballparks
Protection for players, families that are considered to be high-risk
Access to pregame and postgame therapies
Sanitization
Specifics of the MLBPA's response are not yet known, but the union says it's "wide-ranging," Drellich notes.

Some players have already been asking for clarification regarding several of the protocols being suggested with concerns about testing and the limited use of rehab equipment.

This proposal did not include any economic plans, but the league is expected to address the union's concerns on Friday, according to Joel Sherman of the New York Post.
