Alexander Romanov finally signs entry-level deal with Habs

The Montreal Canadiens finally agreed with Alexander Romanov on the terms of a three-years NHL entry-level contract. The terms, as for the beginning of the agreement, remain to be specified.

Alexander is a young, solid and very reliable defenseman, and very determined to pursue his career in the NHL. Romanov has been playing in the KHL with CSKA Moscow for the past two seasons. Last season, he had 7 assists in 43 games. He also maintained a +21 rating with the Moscow club. In 86 games in the KHL, the defenseman has accumulated 11 points, 1 goal and 10 assists.
