While there has been a lot of discussion about possible scenarios for the return and eventual finish of the 2019-20 NHL season, San Jose Sharks captain Logan Couture is reminding people all those scenarios are simply that; discussion. While appearing on a Zoom interview, Couture stated he is the Sharks' representative for the NHL Players' Association and nothing has been set it stone.

"As of now, I mean I talked to our guy yesterday, and there's nothing set," said Couture."

"All the possibilities on the internet are just that, speculation."

"There's no answers. I mean, do I want to come back and play hockey? Yeah! We all do, like all of us. I've talked to all the guys on our team, we all want to come back, we want to play. We're not making the playoffs, we know that. But, if this season comes back, we want to play. We want to play for our fans, play for our people. People that are having a tough go right now. People that are sick. We want to give them a week, you know, of happiness. But we want to do it at a point where it's going to be safe. We don't want to put our lives at risk, our families lives at risk, our trainers' families' lives at risk."

While several scenarios have been thrown around, the most likely one right now should the NHL return before next season is hub-cities. The league would pick up to four cities for teams to play in to finish the regular season and then the playoffs. It's likely those games would take place in empty arenas, although if there's any way around that, it's certain the NHL would love to have the extra revenue from ticket sales.
