The Miami Marlins CEO Derek Jeter is going to be indefinitely foregoing his salary due to MLB's coronavirus-related shutdown, sources have told Craig Mish of SportsGrid.

But Jeter is not the only one. Other team executives have reportedly also taken pay cuts.

In a conference call on Monday, Jeter informed the franchise's baseball operations staff that they and all non-player employees would continue to receive payments through May 31.

On Sunday, it was reported that the MLB'c commissioner Rob Manfred would suspend Uniform Employee Contracts, allowing teams to furlough employees or reduce their pay during the shutdown as of May 1.
