After 535 games across parts of eleven seasons in the National Hockey League, Colton Sceviour has decided to leave North America and has signed a one-year contract with National League club SC Bern in Switzerland.

Note: the quote below was translated from German.

"Colton brings energy, versatility and leadership to the team. He can play different roles, is a southpaw and completes our attack." said former NHLer and current SC Bern General Manager, Andrew Ebbett.

Sceviour, 33, was drafted by the Dallas Stars in the fourth round in 2007. He went on to play for the Stars, Florida Panthers, Pittsburgh Penguins and split the 2021-22 season between the Edmonton Oilers and their AHL affiliate, the Bakersfield Condors. The Red Deer native tallied 156 points (66 goals, 90 assists) during his 535-regular season games and eight points in nineteen Stanley Cup Playoff games.
