In case you missed it, there was a despicable act of racism involving New York Rangers prospect K'Andre Miller while he was doing a live chat with the team on Friday. The chat, being conducted through Zoom, was hijacked by someone calling themselves "The FBI". Whoever that person was, they decided to write the N-word in capital letters in the chat section numerous times. Here is a short video:

The act caused both the Rangers and the NHL to release statements condemning it as "vile", with the team stating the incident was being investigated. According to NHL Insider John Shannon, the FBI is now involved.

Whether the act of racism or the fact that the person referred to themselves as the FBI caused the organisation to step in is not really known. One thing is for certain, it's not funny and no one is taking it lightly. Miller received a ton of support on social media, including from some of his teammates.

Miller, 20, had recently signed his entry-level contract with the Rangers after being taken in the first round (22nd overall) in 2018.
