Another Ottawa Senators player has tested positive for COVID-19
As of Saturday, the Ottawa Senators organization has confirmed a second case of COVID-19 (Coronavirus) among the team's roster, after confirming the first case present in an NHL player last week, which is suspected to be Nikita Zaitsev, though his father has denied the claim.
Though the player has yet to be named, the Senators organization did note that the second positively tested player was present with the team on their last road trip, which included games against San Jose, Anaheim, and Los Angeles.
All in all, 52 people took part in the California trip, including players, staff, media, guests and flight crew.
As stated by the Senators organization, 44 of the 52 have shown no symptoms, 8 have been tested, and 2 have tested positively.
As of March 13th, all members of the Senators organization present for the road trip have been instructed to self-quarantine.
