While the team and Judge learned about the collapsed lung in early March, a CT scan last week showed that it had healed completely. Although the news is a shock, Judge is handling it and his preparation at his own pace.
"That's the silver lining in all this," Judge said to ESPN. "I think just having the ability to not feel rushed trying to get back, you know, for a certain date."

There is a positive feeling from the camp that the former AL rookie of the year will be able to heal without the need for surgery, due to the season's delay.
Last season, Judge posted career lows in most statistical categories after being sidelined for 50 games due to an oblique and shoulder injury. He believes that his issues this spring are rooted from his shoulder injury of September of last season.
With no timetable for the start of the 2020 MLB season, lots of hope remains that Judge will be ready whenever day one may be.
