The New York Yankees have quickly become the spectacle of the baseball world and it is no longer because of signing Gerry Cole.

Tuesday morning, multiple sources have said that another Yankees Minor Leaguer has contracted COVID-19, known as the Corona Virus.

This comes four days after the New York club quarantined its first player due to a rising fever that was later confirmation to be the Corona Virus.

The first player with the virus was only involved with the minor league camp and did not interact with any major leaguers or their staff. It is not confirmed whether the newest player infected was involved with the major league camp or not.

The Yankees had told all of their minor league players to remain in quarantine where they would be delivered food from the team.

With the MLB's spring training currently suspended and opening day postponed until mid-May at the earliest, the Yankees can be meticulous and take their time while trying to eradicate the virus from their organization.

After that, the only thing left to do is wait for baseball to come back.
