Information revealed on Trey Mancini's procedure
It was released on Sunday that Baltimore Orioles' outfielder Trey Mancini would undergo a “non baseball related medical procedure.” On Thursday the information regarding his procedure was released.
The 27-year-old underwent surgery to remove a malignant tumour from his colon. The tumour was discovered during a colonoscopy last week.
The Orioles are waiting on the lab results to set out a timetable for Mancini's return to baseball. The results will not be available until next week.
