Oilers set to comply with Puljujarvi's trade requests this summer
Jesse Puljujarvi and the Oilers are set for their long-awaited separation. The young forward has been ready to move on for a fresh start somewhere else for quite some time, and it seems that this offseason his wishes will come true.
The 24-year-old has already been rumored in a possible San Jose Sharks trade for Evander Kane if he indeed wins his grievance case. Other possible landing destinations could include the Arizona Coyotes, Carolina Hurricanes, New Jersey Devils, and the Ottawa Senators.
Puljujarvi has the potential to be a top line player in the NHL if he is given the right opportunity and development process, but until then he may be nothing more than a decent middle-six winger with upside.
