Alex Ovechkin Scores in FC Dynamo Moscow Debut
In their friendly match against FC Amkal, FC Dynamo's newest striker is already on the board merely a day removed from being signed to a one-game contract. Alexander Ovechkin showing that he can rip one-tees any time, anywhere, in any situation & on any surface in this clip:
That was a Smelly Ripa, they might want to check the turf after that one for scorch marks. Jokes aside, that was actually quite the shot from Ovi. Well struck, placed perfectly. A true goal scorers' goal. Not to mention these are professional footballers out here, but Ovechkin is an absolute mutant from great stock. So while it's not necessarily surprising to see him score here, it is still marvelous.
Ovechkin & Dynamo Moscow won the match 5-nil, following a four-goal second half. Is it just me, or is every sports team based in Moscow, no matter the sport, really good? Wonder why that is...
