Igor Shesterkin Wins Vezina

New York Rangers' netminder Igor Shesterkin won the 2022 Vezina Trophy for the goaltender judged to be best at his position. This is Shesterkin's first NHL award.

Shesterkin led the league in GAA (2.07) and save percentage (.935). He had the seventh best save percentage in a single season (min 25 GP) since it was officially recorded in 1955-56. Shesterkin saved 37.2 goals above expected and earned 38 quality starts and nine stolen wins.
