Canucks superfan gets Quinn Hughes tattoo in interesting spot fulfilling promise made over Instagram
Canucks superfan JC Clemas, otherwise known as the owner of popular Instagram meme page Nucksmemes, has always been a man of his word, and he followed through on a promise to his fans.
Clemas got the number 43 of Quinn Hughes tattooed on his backside to follow through on an Instagram comment promising he would get the tattoo in exchange for a goal versus the Vegas Golden Knights on April 13. Clemas was recently interviewed by DailyHive to explain the situation.
Hughes ended up scoring the overtime winner, giving the Canucks a 5-4 victory, and Clemas was watching the game live when it happened.
«Cut to (Conor) Garland storming in and Quinn grabbing the rebound. It all happened in seemingly slow motion. My mind clicked that it was Quinn, and I had bet an ass tattoo on a goal from him, just as he roofed it.
«So in the middle of exam season, in my dorm, I screamed 'NOOOOOOOOOOOO ARE YOU KIDDING ME?' at the top of my lungs.»

Almost immediately after the game, he received tons of DMs regarding his bet, which forced Clemas to realize he had to follow through on it.
«I'd never been anti-tattoo, but I also never really planned on getting one.»
Quinn Hughes actually commented on the post showing off the new tattoo saying, «Atta boy 💯.» This comment alone has over 5,000 likes.
Being a Canucks superfan, Clemas reacted the way that anyone would if a favorite player commented on one of their posts.
«I definitely do not regret this tattoo. I mainly just find the whole thing really really funny.»
