"We didn't get inside enough," said Gallant. "Vasilevsky made some good saves, but he didn't make enough good saves not near as many as Shesty had to make. We had quality chances five or six probably but you've got to get a lot more than that."
The previous game, which Tampa Bay won 3-2, Shesterkin faced a total of 52 shots, while Vasilevskiy went up against 30.
As for the Lightning taking the last two games and tying the series, Gallant says he's not worried.
""I'm hoping it's going to be a homer series. That's what it looks like so far. We were pretty good in our building. They were pretty good in their building. So, that's what I see," said Gallant.
