Vancouver Canucks defenseman Oliver Ekman-Larsson had a fairly quiet season by his standards posting 29 points in 79 games, and it seems that more regression may be coming his way.
During the 2022 IIHF World Championship, he suffered a foot fracture that will sideline him for at least four to six weeks. His offseason training will definitely be interrupted, but he should be fully healed once training camp comes around in September.
Many Canuck fans would probably wish that he has a bounce-back season in 2022-23, but the more injuries that add up will only threaten the 30-year-old's chances to do so.
