Tampa Bay Lightning forward Brayden Point exited Game 7 late in the first period with an apparent leg injury. Point went to retrieve a puck along the half board, toe picked on his own, and twisted awkwardly down to the ice.

The play was a delayed offside, which just adds insult to injury. Before the period ended, a member of the training staff has a 20 second conversation on the bench with head coach Jon Cooper (with hands over mouths making lip reading impossible).

Point has been Mr. Clutch for the Bolts in the past two postseasons, scoring multiple overtime and game-winning goals in that span. If Point can't return, it would be a huge blow to the Lightning lineup. Fortunately for Tampa Bay, they lead 1-0 after the first period.

Edit: Point has returned to the Bolts' bench for the second period. The man is a machine!
