In what is surely a playoff debut for the ages, Connor Ingram's Game 2 performance nearly gave the Predators a chance in this series. However, having been relegated to a 2-0 deficit, the outlook for Nashville is less than good.

The Avalanche bombarded Ingram early & often, and aside from Nathan Mackinnon's early tally, he was next to perfect. The Avalanche took 71% of shot attempts in this game, equalling 101 attempts at Ingram, meaning he had to 'make the save' over a hundred times. Of the shots that actually hit the net, Ingram was stellar. Even more impressive when you consider 19 of the 50 came off the stick of either Cale Makar (11) & Nathan Mackinnon (8). On Makar's 22nd shot attempt, he'd score the game winner. I mean look at Cale Makar's OT winner & shot chart:

This series was almost certainly over from the start, but that doesn't mean we can't get some great stories from it. Here's a breakdown of Ingram's biggest plays from last night:

The Predators are probably doomed, as their team simply cannot withstand the skill & tenacity of the Avalanche. But it doesn't mean they can't make it interesting.
