San Jose Sharks Sign Coveted Former Olympian Goaltender
Strauss Mann, a highly touted & sought after goaltending free agent has signed with the San Jose Sharks today, per Frank Seravalli of the Daily Faceoff:
Mann posted a 2.19 GAA & .914SV% with Skelleftea in the SHL. There were several teams after the free agent, but he landed in San Jose. The Sharks are an interesting spot, as the bulk of their best players are either before their prime or over the hill.
Interested to see which direction they take course now that Doug Wilson, long time GM, stepped down.
