Another touted Michigan Wolverine has signed with his NHL club, this time it is Thomas Bordeleau. He signs an amateur tryout contract with San Jose's AHL affiliate, the Barracuda. This is likely a means of getting him with the team, playing pro hockey without burning a year of eligibility.

Bordeleau scored 37 points in as many games this season, including a clutch game-tying goal against the Denver Pioneers in what would end up being Michigan's final game this season.
Bordeleau is a quick, skilled winger whose game offers an edge. He is not shy to engage along the walls & fight in the dirty areas, which is where a lot of his production came this season. He is also very crafty in tight areas, which makes him a really intriguing prospect for the San Jose Sharks.
