New York and Toronto have three different ways each that they could clinch a playoff spot tonight.
The New York Rangers will clinch a spot, if:
- They defeat the Ottawa Senators in any fashion.
OR
- They get one point vs. the Senators AND the Islanders lose to the Blues in any fashion.
OR
- The Islanders lose to the Blues in regulation.
New York's game against Ottawa on Saturday night is set for 7 p.m. ET and can be viewed on Sportsnet 360 and CityTV.
The Toronto Maple Leafs will clinch a spot, if:
- They defeat the Montreal Canadiens in any fashion.
OR
- They get one point vs. Montreal AND the New York Islanders lose to the St. Louis Blues in any fashion.
OR
- The Islanders lose to the Blues in regulation.
The Maple Leafs and Canadiens will clash for the final time during the 2021-22 season at 7 p.m. ET on CBC and Sportsnet.
