The National Hockey League's Department of Player Safety announced a pair of fines on Friday for Edmonton Oilers forward Evander Kane, and Nashville Predators forward Colton Sissons.
Kane has been handed a $5,000 fine for kneeing Los Angeles Kings defenceman Sean Durzi on Thursday night. The incident occurred early on in the second period of Thursday night's tilt, and resulted in Kane being given a two-minute minor for kneeing.

As for Colton Sissons, he's been fined $2,500 for spearing Ottawa Senators forward Josh Norris.
Sissons and Norris were tied up in the faceoff circle, then the Senators forward gives Sissons a bit of a shove. He didn't like that and turned towards Norris and speared him in the groin. Norris went right after Sissons, leading to a scrum after the whistle. No penalty was called on the play.
