Jake Evans Goes Head First Into Boards, Leaves Game

Jake Evans is a sympathetic figure, having been the victim of a vicious check during last year's quarterfinal series vs. Winnipeg at the hands of Mark Scheiffele. The injury left Evans badly injured & out of the lineup for months.

After returning, Evans has displayed the utmost professionalism & positivity while also playing at a fairly high level. With strong defensive underlying stats & a knack for pestering opposition without taking penalties has been his forté. However, the kid finds himself out of the lineup once more after a scary incident in last night's match against the dominant Florida Panthers.
