During the General Manager meetings in Florida on Monday, the National Hockey League announced that they are changing the venue of the Awards show for the first time since 2009.

The NHL Awards will now be held in the middle of the Stanley Cup Final according to Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman. Friedman added more detail saying that it will either be held the night before Game 3 or the day in-between Games 3 and 4.

Ever since 2009, the National Hockey League has held the annual Awards show in Las Vegas and prior to that it was held in Toronto for a number of years. For the first time since 2019, the NHL Awards will likely return to in-person after two years of virtual celebrations due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
