Mike Mcleod Makes Nick Jensen Pay After Suspect Hit To Head (VIDEO)

About halfway through last night's game against the Washington Capitals, New Jersey Devils C Mike Mcleod was the recipient of a questionable hit from Caps' D Nick Jensen. Visibly upset over the hit, Mcleod dropped the gloves almost instantly. Jensen obliged (it's only right). Mcleod defended his honor adequately and kind of bodybagged Jensen.

On the initial play, Jensen was assessed a two-minute penalty for elbowing and Mcleod two minutes for roughing. Both received five-for-fighting.

The Capitals would end ultimately go home victorious after taking a two-goal third period lead despite a strong closing sequence by the Devils. New Jersey looks to rebound against Montreal tonight 7pm. The Capitals' next action is tomorrow, Monday 3/28 vs. Carolina.
