Carolina Hurricanes defenseman Ian Cole has been a fan favorite around the league for quite some time, and he made a great gesture to a young fan who was having problems growing up (and losing her teeth).
A Carolina Hurricanes fan explained that his daughter had recently lost a tooth, and she was freaking out because she has autism. Because of this, she has trouble handling change, and losing teeth can be scary for any young kid. So, in order to cheer her up, the father showed her a picture of her favorite player, Ian Cole.
The similarities between the smiles is somewhat comedic as they both share a similar missing teeth grin. Cole responded to the fan and his daughter on Twitter.

In a very heart-warming story, Ian Cole again showed how classy hockey players are. Cole has been a great addition for the Hurricanes, tallying 13 points (2 goals, 11 assists) in 51 games this season.
