It was announced today that the MontreaL Canadiens have signed Brandon Gignac to a two-year NHL deal. He has been a stud for them in the AHL.

Montreal Canadiens Sign Brandon Gignac in Order to Replace Sean Monahan

Sean Monahan's trade on Friday left the Canadiens with only two natural centres on the roster. They have now solved part of the problem by signing Brandon Gignac, who has played one NHL game for the Devils, but has been unstoppable in the AHL.

Congrats Brandon!
