Controversial Carson Briere Signs Pro Contract

In the last few minutes, some major news was shared on Twitter.

Carson Briere, son of Daniel Briere, is known for his involvement in the "wheelchair incident." Back in March, he pushed an empty wheelchair down a flight of stairs, and the video went viral.

Now, he has signed a contract with HC 19 Humenné in the Extra Liga, Slovakia.

Briere is now 23 years old, has been ejected from his college team, and hasn't been drafted. Playing in Europe is one of the only remaining avenues if he wants to continue playing hockey.
