With Brad Marchand facing a suspension for his interactions with Pittsburgh Penguins' goaltender Tristan Jarry Tuesday night, it seems everyone has an opinion on what he should get. That includes the wife of Penguins' star Evgeni Malkin, Anna Kasterova.
The former Russian television personality took to her Instagram account on Wednesday to make her suggestion on a proper punishment for Marchand's actions. Here's what she had to say:
The post was in Russian. Translated, it reads: "Five games and 10 hours of loving-kindness meditation."
Given how Marchand seemed to just snap Tuesday night, meditation might not be a bad idea. At the same time, even trying to imagine Marchand meditating is tough. If you haven't seen the incident yet, there is video below. Marchand has an in-person hearing, via Zoom, with the NHL's Department of Player Safety.
