Letang makes Penguins history

With an assist on a goal by Sam Lafferty Sunday night, Pittsburgh defenseman Kris Letang has entered the team's history books. He becomes the first blueliner to record 500 points with the team.

Letang, 32, has played for the Pens his entire NHL career. He has two assists in the game now, bringing his career point total to 501 in 753 games (114 goals, 387 assists). The three time Stanley Cup champion was drafted 62nd overall by Pittsburgh in 2005
