Canes social media trolls Boston and Marchand after Carolina's big win over the Bruins
The Carolina Hurricanes Twitter account is trolling once again. Brad Marchand of the Boston Bruins and the Canes' Vincent Trocheck exchanged some verbal shots ahead of Tuesday night's game after a reporter asked Trocheck how he felt about his game being compared to that of Marchand's.
"Are you calling me a rat?" Trocheck responded.
That caused Marchand to make an Instagram post later on saying the comparison between him and Trocheck was like "comparing a Lambo to a Prius."
With Carolina getting big 7-1 win over the Bruins Tuesday, the Hurricanes' Twitter account took the opportunity to get some digs in, first posting a video of Trocheck hitting Marchand during the game.
The account then took aim at the City of Boston as a whole, taking a shot at the Bruins and the New England Patriots.
Finally, the Hurricanes ended the night with one final dig.
