This may just be the strangest rule yet to come out of the hockey world due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The Owen Sound Attack of the Ontario Hockey League (OHL) has released a new list of rules for fans attending games based on updated provincial restrictions and guidelines. One of them had fans wondering if there's even a point in going to the games any longer.

Among the new rules, it says: "Standing Room areas are no longer available.
Standing of any kind is strictly prohibited." In the initial release from the team, as you can see below, the words "including cheering for a goal" were included. It looks like that has been removed after several complaints on twitter.

As of this weekend, the Attack, and all other professional sports teams based in Ontario, are down to 50 percent capacity. That leaves Owen Sound with a maximum capacity of 1505 fans.
