Well, that's one way to get yourself benched. In a game between Barys Nur-Sultan and Kunlun Red Star in the KHL, Roman Savchenko of Barys was boarded by Mikael Tam. Savchenko didn't like the hit, and let Tam know right away, laying into him with hard punches. Savchenko would eventually land enough punches to put Tam over the boards and into the Barys bench. There were a lot of penalties in this sequence. Tam got two for boarding and five for fighting. Savchenko for the five minute major for fighting, plus two and 20 for being the instigator.
