Max Pacioretty and Biz Nasty share hilarious post-game exchange on TNT (w/video)
The Vegas Golden Knights pulled off a thrilling come-from-behind victory in on Wednesday night against the Dallas Stars, scoring a trio of unanswered goals to erase a 2 goal deficit in the third period, walking away with a 5-4 regulation win.
During the TNT post-game coverage, Golden Knights forward Max Pacioretty and analyst Paul "Biz Nasty" Bissonnette shared a hilarious exchange that brought everyone on the panel, as well as Pacioretty himself to laughter.
Biz had brought up the fact that Stars forward Tyler Seguin had missed an open net and an opportunity to put his team up 5-2 in the third period and asked Pacioretty if that was the turning point in the game that gave Vegas some life in the third and helped propel them to a big win. His response and the subsequent reaction from Biz and the panel was fantastic.
Pacioretty's reaction to Biz Nasty's interpretation of his words was a lot of fun to watch. Obviously, as Pacioretty said, he didn't mean it the way Biz had spun it, but you have to love the sense of humor and quick wit from Biz.
It's fantastic to see a large personality like Bissonnette engage in these types of light-hearted exchanges with the players. It certainly makes for entertaining coverage and is one of the primary reasons why there is a lot of hype behind the NHL on TNT right now.
