As far as coaching debuts go, Bruce Boudreau's couldn't have gone much better with the Vancouver Canucks. It's been a tough season for Vancouver fans, but they seemed in a much better mood Monday night as their team defeated the LA Kings 4-0 to get Boudreau his first win behind the bench in the city.
Following the game, Boudreau was asked about his strategy. Since he had just joined the team earlier that day, he joked with reporters that he really had no clue what was going on or even who was out on the ice next. Whatever it was, it got the job done.
In the closing minutes of the third, Canucks fans looked to show their appreciation for the new coach by chanting "Bruce, there it is!" You can hear that in the video below.
