The Philadelphia Flyers have been one of the most disappointing teams so far this year, and captain Claude Giroux is anything but happy with the team's performance.
Sitting at 8-10-4 through 22 games, the Flyers find themselves seventh in the NHL's Metropolitan Division, only ahead of the struggling New York Islanders. The Flyers are currently riding an eight-game losing streak, and they need to find a way to fix their problems before it is too late.
«I've played in a lot of embarrassing games, and this is one of them. We need to figure it out real quick,» Giroux said after the Flyers' 7-1 loss to the Tampa Bay Lightning.
The weirdest part about their loss was that they actually outshot the Lightning 39-27 while also outpacing them in scoring chances 27-20.
The Flyers are 1-7-2 in their last ten games and the team will be in action again on Monday versus the Colorado Avalanche.
