The incident occurred at the 13:42 mark of the first period of Saturday's tilt between Minnesota and Seattle. Goligoski didn't receive a penalty on the play, and he added an assist in the first period as the Wild defeated the Kraken, 4-2.
Goligoski, 36, signed a one-year contract worth $5 million with the Minnesota Wild on the opening day of free agency in July. In eleven games, the Grand Rapids, Michigan native has six assists, six penalty minutes, and is a minus-one.
Minnesota's Alex Goligoski has been fined $5,000, the maximum allowable under the CBA, for High-sticking Seattle's Jordan Eberle. NHL Player Safety (@NHLPlayerSafety) November 14, 2021
