International hockey tournaments usually carry a lot of respect for opposing countries. France showed a major lack of it on Saturday at an event called the Four Nations Tournament, and has reportedly apologized for it.

France faced Belarus in the final of the tournament, a game Belarus won 6-3. While the Belarusians were lining up for their national anthem, which the losing team usually stays on the ice for as a show of respect, the French team left the ice and went back to the dressing room.

Sport24.ru reports that Team France has apologized to Team Belarus for the snub.

The video below should start at the right time. If not, fast forward to the two hour and 26 minute mark.
