The Utica Comets have been on a roll to start the season in the AHL, and it seems that their Twitter person decided to hop in on the fun.
After the first period of play, the team's Twitter account posted a tweet directed at recently demoted Montreal Canadiens forward Cole Caufield. The tweet bashed Caufield's play in the first period.
"Yo @colecaufield are you here? Everyone keeps saying you're here but we haven't noticed. Did you not play the first period?"
«'Twas a joke.»
The Comets went on to win the game 4-2 but Caufield did add an assist for Laval. With the win, Utica remained perfect to start the season at 7-0-0.
