A wild scene in the AHL after a line brawl breaks out between the Toronto Marlies and Laval Rocket

For most hockey fans, being present in the arena and getting to witness two warriors drop the gloves and engage in a good scrap is certainly worth the price of admission. Being in the arena for a full blown line brawl, that's a whole other level of excitement.

Fans in attendance at Place Bell in Laval, QC for the Rocket vs Toronto Marlies game definitely got their money's worth in this one, as a Brennan Menell hip check on Rocket forward Michael Pezzetta caused all hell to break loose.

For those who wish to see the hit that brought on on chaos, here's the play in question in the final 3 minutes of the third period.

The Rocket ended up picking up the 5-0 win, but the real story was the 147 penalty minutes that were dolled out as a result of Menell's hit on Pezzetta - and that doesn't include the additional penalty minutes that were issued throughout the course of the game.
