The NHL just unveiled all 32 Hometown Remix jerseys, and the Anaheim Ducks' version is the one fans will be talking about.
Every team now has its look out, and plenty of them are good. A few are properly loud. But the Ducks walked away with the best of the bunch.
The recipe is simple. Bold '90s colors, Orange County green and gold, and the Flying V on the sleeves.
That last detail is the smart one. Putting the Flying V on the sleeves gives the jersey a clear identity without crowding the front, and it will stand out on the ice and in the stands.
The timing helps, too. The Ducks beat the Senators 6-3 last night, so the unveiling lands right after their best performance in a while.

Why the Ducks jersey beats the other 31
Because it commits. Plenty of Hometown Remix designs play it safe, while Anaheim went all in on a look that screams 1990s and local pride at once.
Cutter Gauthier gave fans plenty to cheer about Sunday, scoring three goals, two of them on the power play. Leo Carlsson added three assists in 20:40 of ice time.
| GP | W | L | OL | PTS | DIFF | |
| 1. Edmonton Oilers | 15 | 11 | 2 | 2 | 24 | +20 |
| 2. Vegas Golden Knights | 15 | 9 | 5 | 1 | 19 | +9 |
| 3. Seattle Kraken | 14 | 8 | 5 | 1 | 17 | 0 |
| 4. San Jose Sharks | 15 | 7 | 7 | 1 | 15 | -11 |
| 5. Anaheim Ducks | 14 | 6 | 7 | 1 | 13 | -4 |
| 6. Calgary Flames | 14 | 6 | 8 | 0 | 12 | -16 |
| 7. Los Angeles Kings | 13 | 4 | 7 | 2 | 10 | -9 |
| 8. Vancouver Canucks | 16 | 3 | 12 | 1 | 7 | -25 |
The standings are less friendly. The Ducks sit at 6-7-1, 24th in the NHL and fifth in the Pacific Division, with a 3-6-1 mark over their last 10 games.
A jersey won't fix that, and Joel Quenneville knows it. Home ice has been the issue at 2-4-1, so the new look will have to wait for a better stretch at Honda Center to make its full impact.
First, the Ducks have a road date. They visit the Canucks on Tuesday, riding a win into Vancouver.
Is the Ducks' Hometown Remix jersey the best of all 32?
