Travis Konecny could be approached about waiving his no-movement clause, but the Flyers forward may not budge, according to Daily Faceoff.

Anthony Di Marco reported that team sources believe Konecny “would not be open to waiving his NMC.”

The report added that an approach could still be a possibility.

That's a big wrinkle for a team sitting dead last in the Metropolitan Division, and it limits what a shakeup can look like.

Philadelphia is 3-7-4 after Tuesday's 4-3 overtime loss to Columbus.

The Flyers have been outscored by 19 goals this season.

Travis Konecny, on IR until at least Nov. 3, has no goals in five games

Konecny is on injured reserve with a lower-body injury, expected out until at least Nov. 3.

The 29-year-old carries an $8,750,000 cap hit.

He's dressed for five games this season, with three assists and no goals.

Briere shouldn't bother asking right now. Nobody pays full price for an injured forward who hasn't scored yet.

Shopping him now would be like auctioning a painting that's still at the framer's. Buyers can't bid on what they can't see.

Frank Seravalli already said the Flyers are “interested in making something happen,” with Rasmus Ristolainen's name in the mix.

Home ice hasn't helped either. The Flyers are 2-3-3 in their own building.

They've also dropped four games after regulation, which tells you how many points have slipped away late.

Up front, Trevor Zegras leads the team with 12 points on a $9,125,000 cap hit.

Matvei Michkov has eight goals, the most on the roster.

So if Konecny won't move, where does Briere find a trade that actually changes something?

Rick Tocchet's group visits Washington tonight, then gets a few days off before hosting Utah on Sunday.

If the losses keep piling up, the conversation about that no-move clause won't stay quiet for long.
